Hertfordshire’s Hell’s Belles will host the final British Championships game day on Sunday 8 July for the final showdown of the Tier 3 South tournament.
You probably already know that roller derby is one of the fastest growing full contact sports in the UK. It’s exciting to watch, fast paced and hard hitting. And on 8 July, you will get to see two fantastic games, as four teams show up for a day of roller derby action hosted by your very own Hertfordshire Roller Derby.
The double header will see your local heroes, the Hell’s Belles, take on the Dorset Roller Girls, who will be tough to beat, coming to us from a very close win against Killa Hurtz earlier this month. And Essex’s Killa Hurtz Roller Girls will be joining the line up once again, this time against Wiltshire Roller Derby.
The teams will battle it out on track as part of the British Championships, Europe’s largest interleague flat track roller derby tournament which sees 72 teams play against each other throughout the year.
And it’s all to play for as four out of the five teams in our tier is on 3 games played, 1 win, 2 losses. Stats nerds can look on the British Championships website and below for details.
